Successful European Mars Probe

Watch this video about the successful European Mars probe on HowStuffWorks. The rocket named Rosetta, named after the stone which unlocked the secrets of Egyptian hieroglyphics, was launched by the European Space Agency in 2004. It performed two of its "swing-by" maneuvers around Mars without a hitch, but it will also have to perform two similar maneuvers around Earth in 2007 and 2009 in order to reach her destination.
